Many webmasters and SEO’s have been talking about recent losses in traffic and rankings for longtail keywords. Matt Cutts discusses the recent algorithm change “Mayday” and how it relates to longtail search queries.

Google has changed the Google preferences link to the new “Search Settings” in the top right corner.
On the settings link you can now get to preferences from the search settings link you can find where the Google preferences link used to be.
